Your claim for compensation can include an allowance for lost weekly payments, medical expenses and damages for pain, suffering and economic loss. If you are having trouble
returning to work, we can also represent you in dealings with your employer.
In particular, where you have a significant permanent whole person impairment, you may have access to a Permanent Impairment Claim under section 58 of the Return to Work Act 2014 Act (SA).
In order to successfully make out a Permanent Impairment claim, you need the following:
- Your medical condition must be stable; and
- You must have been assessed by an accredited medical assessor as having a WPI of greater than 5%.
If you have a claim, then we will act to obtain all relevant medical reports, and then undertake negotiations with your employer (or their insurer) in order to accurately quantify your claim.
